Landscaping Design on a
Large Scale
With properties of a larger scale, good design is essential to create a natural look and feel. The owners of this 1 acre riverfront lot wanted to create structure and interest to the newly purchased lot. They wanted established trees on the land by the time they are ready to build a home. We selected trees that would do well in the sandy soil and not require much watering. Also, by planting larger sizes, the trees will take off in a couple years so the owners can have privacy and structure on their land. Trees also had to be unattractive to deer, since there are herds of deer travelling through the area.
